Biography
Arlene Bardelle has been dazzling audiences with her tasteful vocal stylings for the past several years. Chicago is her home base, where she works with some of the finest musicians in town. Arlene was a mainstay at the famed Coq D'or in the Drake hotel for many years. She has performed at many other top notch Chicago venues such as the Pump Room, Andy's Jazz Club, Pops for Champagne, Fitzgerald's, the Jazz Showcase, and the Green Mill. Arlene has also performed for political fundraiser cruises on Lake Michigan, private events at the Crystal Ballroom at Navy Pier, and corporate performances for top Chicago agents. She has performed at the Chicago Jazz Fest, Taste of Chicago, and the Plymouth Jazz Fest in Wisconsin as well as Smoke and the iconic Metropolitan Room in New York.
Arlene cites jazz vocal icon Ella Fitzgerald as a major influence on her singing abilities. Some of Arlene's other significant influences include Sarah Vaughan, Carmen McRae and Frank Sinatra. She also cites Judy Garland as one of her early influences.
